It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to come out on the day of al-Fitr and al-Adha to the prayer place, and the first thing he would do was to offer the prayer ~ Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 956

Eid Salah is performed in the morning of both Eids - the Eid Ul-Fitr and the Eid-Ul-Adha. Well-off Muslims are encouraged to pay charity or Sadaqat-ul-Fitr which is usually in the form of food, like rice, barley, and dates. This is an obligation meant to ensure that all Muslims are able to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha.

We host 2 Eid khutbahs and prayers for both Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha - one at AYCC and the other at the Wyndham Vale Community Centre, both conducted at different times. Each is followed by breakfast within a multicultural environment.
